Regional Coaching Director – Redlands
Hockey Qld is set to build upon the success of hockey during the London Olympics with the launch of ‘get into hockey’ campaign in January 2013. To capture the anticipated growth in participation we are now seeking suitable applicants for a REGIONAL COACHING DIRECTOR to work in the Rockhampton region. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and passionate coach to contribute to the rich history of this region in producing Olympic hockey players.
As an employee of Hockey Qld you will work collaboratively with Rockhampton Hockey Association to develop, implement and monitor an annual plan focused on the recruitment, retention and development of players and coaches in the region. You will also work with identified emerging players to guide their ongoing development.
You will be a part of a network of coaches across Queensland, contribute to the State Development Plan and work with the QAS Head Coaches as Hockey Qld pursues its vision to lead and grow hockey in Queensland. You will be based at the Rockhampton Hockey Association commencing at the end of January 2013.
