Use your basketball experience to support and develop junior players. Northern Galaxy Basketball Club is primarily a juniors club, training on Brisbane's Northside and playing out of Brisbane Basketball. We cater to players of all levels from beginner to representative. Coaches will be supported by the soon to be appointed Director of Coaching and Development.
The club is currently looking for volunteers to coach junior players in U14, U16 and U18 competitions.
Training is currently Tuesday and Thursday nights between 6-9pm at Wavell State High School.

Level one technical officials operate on site at triathlons throughout Queensland and nationally to ensure events are run safely and fairly for all competitors. Through volunteering as an official, you'll gain a unique insight into how triathlons and major sporting events are managed, and learn valuable transferable skills.
Your accreditation as a Technical Official is recognised by the Australian Sports Commission. As your experience grows and with further training you can progress through the accreditation levels in the technical program, providing you with opportunities to lead teams, mentor others and exercise advanced risk management skills. You will have opportunities to officiate at large scale events both nationally and internationally.

Achieve Personal Training is looking for an experienced personal trainer for a busy personal training studio in Hawthorne (Brisbane Southside). The successful applicant will have a sporting/gym background with industry experience. A Club Manager needs to have a current first aid certificate and the ability to also conduct a personal training business within the facility. Ideally candidates will commence in late January/February. Assistant Club Managers should have current cert 3 & 4 along with a current First Aid certificate. The Assistant Club Manager will commence a normal assistant manager role (32hrs/p.w) prior to the club opening. This will consist of training and club promotion/marketing. On club opening the role of Assistant Club Manager will revert to 12hrs per week so that the preferred applicant can then take up their role as a contract personal trainer in the club, running their own business.
Personal Trainers are required to have current cert 3 & 4 in fitness / First Aid certificate / ABN / relevant insurances.
A background in the fitness and health industry is preferred but not necessary.
