Hello my name is Andrew Moloney and I am at this very moment on my last day of practicum for my Bachelor of Exercise Physiology. It’s been 4 years in the making and having Fitnance as my last placement has been a great way to finish it all off. In regards to my sporting history I have played cricket, golf and tennis at a local level; I was age champion from grades 6-12 in swimming and represented at regional level for 100m freestyle and backstroke; lastly I have represented the Sunshine Coast District in Basketball for the Coastal Suns. My goal in life is to travel the world with my degree but hopefully end up in Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Thanks to everyone at Fitnance!!

Lisa Seiler
Hi my name is Lisa Seiler and I have just completed a double degree in Human Movement / Nutrition & Dietetics at Queensland University of Technology. Currently I am doing voluntary hours here at Fitnance to achieve the required total amount of working with the apparently healthy population so I can get accredited with Exercise & Sport Science Australia (ESSA). I have finished all my other practical placements where I worked with clients who had spinal cord injuries, back pain and other musculoskeletal conditions. My latest prac was at a cardiac rehabilitation centre which I really enjoyed. Taking blood pressures while patients were rowing or walking on the treadmill was definitely a challenge and I believe a useful skill. In terms of my career, I can see myself working as an exercise physiologist or dietitian (or both) in a multi-disciplinary team where a holistic approach to health and well-being is valued. I would also love to combine the knowledge and skills gained in both degrees and work with children to achieve a healthier and more energetic young population.
As far as my hobbies are concerned, I’ve done ballet, jazz, Latin and ballroom dancing, figure-skating, kickboxing, and Tae kwon do in the past. These days I usually go to the gym for a workout. In my free time I enjoy inline-skating, going for walks outside, and reading.
