Regional Coaching Director - Mackay

Hockey Qld is set to build upon the success of hockey during the London Olympics with the launch of 'get into hockey' campaign in January 2013. To capture the anticipated growth in participation we are now seeking suitable applicants for a REGIONAL COACHING DIRECTOR (RCD) to work in the Mackay region. You will be based at the Mackay Hockey Association, be a part of a network of coaches based throughout Queensland and work closely with the QLD Academy of Sport Head Coaches.
As an employee of Hockey Qld you will work collaboratively with the Mackay Hockey Association to develop, implement and monitor an annual plan focused on the recruitment, retention and development of players and coaches in the region. You will also be working closely with identified emerging players in the region to guide their ongoing development and have the opportunity to contribute to the State Development Plan.Ideally you will be available to commence at the end of January 2013. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and passion coach to work in a region boasting the second largest participation base outside of metropolitan Bne.
