The 2012 Sun-Herald City2Surf!

Congratulations to all the finishers who participated in City2Surf yesterday! Great effort from Michael Zirbel, Chris Weier, Paul Leitch, Craig O’Connell and Pen Pusher from Fitnance who completed the course. City2Surf is a fun course attracting both serious and casual runners. It had a total distance of 14km starting from Sydney's CBD and finishing at the southern end of Bondi Pavilion. The toughest part of this course was to go up "Heartbreak Hill" at the halfway mark, which was easy for the Fitnance crew.

Fitnance Students Shine at the Olympics

Well done to Mel Schlanger who is bringing home gold after a win in the woman's 4x100m freestyle relay! Schlanger showed great poise to anchor the team home and swim the fastest time for Australia.

Kendrick Monk clocked his fasted time this year to qualify 7th for the semi finals of the Men's 200m freestyle. The semi finals is the furthest Monk has made it in the Olympics, so this was a fantastic effort. Unfortunately Monk qualified 13th fastest overall, therefore will not be competing in the final. Great effort Kendrick!

Congratulations to Ryan Napoleon who made it to the final for the men's 400m freestyle. Ryan came 8th in the final after huge swims in the heat and semi finals. Well done Ryan!
