Detailed Description	Purpose of Position This position is supported by the Department of Communities, Sport and Recreation Services through the Local Sport and Recreation Jobs Plan Program. The objectives of the Local SPort and Recreation Jobs Plan are to: Build the capacity of organisations that support and deliver sport and recreation opportunities to meet the Queensland Government's Toward Q2: Tomorrow's Queensland commitment to 'make Queenslanders Australia's healthiest people' by 2020 Promote healthy and socially inclusive communities by supporting volunteers' roles in the development and delivery of sport and recreation Facilitate more collaborative and inclusive apporaches in local communities so that opportunities are available for all Queenslanders to be active Encourage sustainability of local sport and recreation organisations through local, tailored support that builds the capacity of volunteers to manage organisations more effectively and efficiently. Selection Criteria	Essential Current driver's licence Working with Children Check
	Desirable Relevant Tertiary Qualification Sports Management Degree Leisure/Recreation/Tourism Degree Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Sport or Community Development and/or demonstrated practical ability in any of these fields.
