UQ SPORT is a not-for-profit organisation responsible for the promotion of sport, physical recreation and the benefits of a healthy lifestyle within the University and broader national and international communities.

The UQ Tennis Centre encourages community participation through fixtures, coaching programs and general court hire as well as hosting tournaments.

In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of fixtures, programs and excellent customer service. This involves the coordination of the administrative requirements for programs outlined in the Tennis Centre Business Plan such as court booking requirements, program setup, updating and maintenance of internal systems, customer service and compilation of participation reports as required.

To be effective in this role, you will have previous experience in the design and delivery of sport and recreation programs, experience in the development of draws for tennis competitions and highly developed customer relationship management skills.

A knowledge and understanding of the tennis industry is also required. Current CPR, First Aid Certificate and Working with Children Clearance (Blue Card) or the ability to obtain one are essential. A tertiary qualification in sport or leisure (or equivalent) and experience supervising staff will be highly advantageous.

Please note: this position will require you to work some evenings and weekends as required inline with Tennis industry practice.
