Short Description The Regional Development Manager position is a key position within AUS. The position will take responsibility for key functional aspect(s) across the AUS event portfolio, the national development program, and domestic representative opportunities.

Detailed Description The Regional Development Manager reports directly, and has line management responsibility to the General Manager however will also be responsible to the High Performance Manager and National Programs Manager in relation to achieving objectives under these portfolios.

The Regional Development Manager will be expected to establish close working relationships with:



AUS staff and AUS Member universities staff.

Appropriate staff of the relevant state and national sporting organisations.

Relevant staff from universities in Queensland, Northern Territory and Northern New South Wales.

Relevant staff at State Government level and Sports Federation of Queensland

Other key stakeholders including AUS and AUS event partners, sponsors and media.

The Regional Development Manager will be responsible for the overall project management of the Northern University Games and regional development.

Relevant Tertiary Qualification

Relevant event experience
