About the role
Reporting to the Queensland State Manager, you will work very autonomously and be responsible for the management and delivery of the Good Sports program in the North Queensland region.
This includes:
Developing strategic partnerships with local government, regional sporting organisations, QLD Police and community groups
Recruiting, leading and managing the performance of your project team
Expand the Good Sports program by establishing new relationships with sporting clubs
Contribution to and management of the state Good Sports marketing strategy
About you
As the successful candidate, you must live our values, demonstrate experience in leading regional health promotion/sports programs and show an ability to work autonomously.
You will also:
Be tertiary qualified in Health Promotion or a related discipline and hold a valid QLD working with children check ‘blue card’
Demonstrate experience in and a passion for people leadership
Demonstrate business development expertise and experience
Be results driven and promote effective team work
