Position Title: Queensland Rugby Development Officer - Cairns
Short Description: Based in Cairns with primary responsibilities focused on Rugby Clubs, Schools and other relevant Stakeholders in the region.

Detailed Description:
The QRU Development Officer is employed to work closely with relevant stakeholders, particularly providers of participation opportunities to grow the number of participants playing rugby union. A close working relationship with rugby clubs, schools, affiliates and other relevant stakeholders will be essential to the successful achievement of this position’s objectives.

Essential Criteria:
Candidates applying for this role must have the following:

• interest for union
• ability to evoke wide ranges of organisations - volunteers, coaches and schools
• strong communication and bonding skills - strong time management, meet deadlines etc
• flexible with working hours
• able to work independently and as a team when required

Location:
QLD Rugby are seeking a candidate for a role based in Cairns.

Essential Working with children  Current Drivers License

Desirable

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification
• Level 1 Coaching Accreditation
