Position Title	Assistant Coach
Short Description	You will assist with the development and delivery of sport science services, programs and projects to benefit athletes training at the QAS.

Detailed Description	Full-time temporary until 31 Dec 2014 with possibility of an extension for 2 yrs Salary package commences at $65,000 Superannuation 12.75% and flexible working arrangements Your suitability for this role will be assessed against these core capabilities. These are outlined below: Supports strategic direction – You will analyse and interpret information, think laterally, are innovative and identify potential solutions to benefit elite athletes and coaches Achieves results – You will contribute work within agreed priorities and commit to achieving quality outcomes for the benefit of elite athletes and coaches Supports productive working relationships – You will develop and maintain positive relationships and work collaboratively as an effective team member Displays personal drive and integrity – You will take personal responsibility for the accurate completion of your work and will maintain effective performance levels even in challenging circumstances Communicates with influence – You will listen effectively to develop a clear understanding of issues, confidently present information to coaches and negotiate persuasively with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes for elite athletes Understand the needs of clients – You understand and respond to the requirements of elite coaches and athletes, who seek to be internationally competitive, and have specific experience and knowledge of the sports of Track and Field, Rowing and Triathlon. Tertiary qualifications at degree level in sport science or related discipline from a recognised tertiary institution.
