Detailed Description	The Project Officer and will report directly to the Queensland Business Centre Coordinator. The role is 1-day per week position (52 days per year) distributed throughout each month as required over a fixed 3 years term of employment to focus primarily on regional areas of Queensland. The person will need to be available to commence work in early 2012. The person will be responsible for following implementing the following in conjunction with the Business Centre Coordinator. Key accountabilities include Source, train, mentor and support the Regional Champions in the 8 areas identified above. Industry engagement with the aim to promote AUSTSWIM in identified regional areas. The development of strong links between the QLD Business Centre and Industry in regional Queensland. Assist in professional development delivery as required. Assist in coordinating forums and industry meetings. Assist with meeting with regional local and state Government organisations. Liaising as required with AUSTSWIM presenters, swim schools, teachers and schools. Identifying regional training and development needs in conjunction with Coordinators in local areas (where applicable). Engaging with the local community and gain an understanding of regional issues/needs. Provide QLD Business Centre Coordinator with regular reports on Engagement Strategy progress. Ensure Project Milestones as detailed in “Queensland Engagement Strategy” are met.
