Team Wheelchair Mechanic

Muscular Dystrophy Queensland Inc. is searching for a person to assist our electric wheelchair sports team - The Queensland Gladiators. The role entails assisting athletes who have any mecahnical and structual issues when participating and being able to assist in the repair and maintenance of the equipment.

This person would most likely have experience in hands on work but it is not essential. A person who has had experience working with electric wheelchairs wheelchairs is desierable but not essential.

This person will be required once every second saturday for a period of 3 hours.

The successful applicant must have:

·         Certificate IV in Fitness or equivalent

·         Working with Children’s Check

·         Certificate IV in Training and Assessment preferred

·         Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science or equivalent preferred but not essential
