Female Programs Coordinator


AFL Queensland is currently seeking a Female Programs Coordinator to be involved with: Participation Programs, Quality Environment and Culture, Talented Player Pathways, Reporting and Budget/Financial Management.
Work type is full time and the location is in Brisbane.

AFL Queensland is currently seeking a Female Programs Coordinator to be involved with: Participation Programs, Quality Environment and Culture, Talented Player Pathways, Reporting and Budget/Financial Management.
Key responsibilities will include:
·         The development and implementation of the female football strategy across Queensland, in collaboration with other participation, talent and regional staff
·         Involve consultation with stakeholder groups to influence strategic direction and the integration of female participation in all aspects of the AFL industry
·         Establish and promote the participation pathways for women and girls from NAB AFL Auskick to open age football as participants, umpires, coaches and administrators
·         Implement and coordinate representative talent programs
·         Drive transition for female participants from AFL programs to community club environments and talent programs
We seek a self motivated individual with:
·         Demonstrated personal initiative and ability to work effectively unsupervised
·         Well developed verbal and written communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
·         Demonstrated attention to detail
·         Ability to build strong working relationships – internal and external; and effectively as part of a team
·         Satisfactory ‘Working with Children’ check (Blue Card) from Queensland State Government or ability to obtain
·         Due to the nature of the sporting industry must be willing to work outside normal business hours from time to time such as evenings and weekends
·         Queensland Driver’s License
